Servox, LLC secured a $22.8 million contract for construction services at the Intercontinental Airport Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Industrial TX Corp was awarded $18.5 million for groundwater facility and re-pump station improvements.

The council approved over $9.6 million in professional engineering services for large-diameter water line extensions.

A planned construction contract for groundwater well rehabilitation and land acquisitions for lift station rehabs were pulled from the agenda and tabled.

The Houston City Council advanced a significant package of municipal water and wastewater investments during its July 21, 2026 meeting, approving more than $58 million in infrastructure contracts funded through the Water & Sewer System Consolidated Construction Fund. The largest single approval was a $22,811,498 contract awarded to Servox, LLC. The firm will provide construction services for improvements to the Intercontinental Airport Wastewater Treatment Plant. Groundwater infrastructure also received a major funding injection. The council approved an $18,591,154 contract with Industrial TX Corp for Package No. 3 of the city's Ground Water Facility, Re-Pump Station, HVAC, and Ventilation System Improvements. However, a separate proposed contract for groundwater well rehabilitation across various locations was pulled from the agenda and tabled. On the distribution side, the city authorized two major professional engineering contracts for large-diameter water mains. Kuo & Associates, LLC was awarded $4.46 million for a 42-inch water line extension at Sims Bayou along US 59, while HTOWN Engineers, LLC secured a $5.13 million contract for a 30-inch water line along Bellaire Boulevard. Additional approvals included a $6.32 million contract with DL Glover Pipe Bursting, LLC for wastewater collection system rehabilitation and renewal, and $654,705 to Weston Solutions, Inc. for engineering services related to the Beltway Wastewater Treatment improvements. The council also appropriated $4 million from the Water & Sewer System Consolidated Construction Fund and $2 million from the Dedicated Drainage and Street Renewal Capital Fund for Fiscal Year 2027 developer participation contracts.
