Pasadena extends Inframark’s WWTP role as sewer rehabilitation payments advancePasadena City Council approved an October extension for Inframark to manage, operate and maintain the New Vince Bayou and Golden Acres wastewater treatment facilities. The council also approved nearly $1.33 million in progress payments for the West Pitts Lift Station Rehabilitation and citywide sanitary sewer rehabilitation.

Inframark’s agreement for New Vince Bayou and Golden Acres wastewater treatment facilities was extended from October 1 through October 31, 2026.

Boyer Inc. received approval for $768,250.10 and $484,630.15 under estimates three and four of the West Pitts Lift Station Rehabilitation project.

T Construction LLC received a $79,800.01 twelfth progress payment for the 2025 Citywide Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project.

Council also approved employment of a Wastewater Collection Utility Worker II and a Water Production Utility Maintenance Technician II, both effective September 16.

Pasadena City Council has approved a one-month extension of Inframark LLC’s agreement to manage, operate and maintain the city’s New Vince Bayou and Golden Acres wastewater treatment facilities, covering October 1-31, 2026. The extension, Ordinance 2026-163, was included among the council’s consensus final readings at its September 15 meeting and passed without recorded opposition. The agenda did not state the value of the extension or provide details of a subsequent operating arrangement beyond the one-month period. Alongside the treatment-facility operating decision, the council authorised major progress payments for sewer infrastructure work. Boyer Inc. was approved for two payments on the West Pitts Lift Station Rehabilitation project, identified as CIP project WW075. Estimate three totalled $768,250.10 and estimate four totalled $484,630.15, bringing the approved payments considered at this meeting to $1,252,880.25. The city also approved a $79,800.01 twelfth progress payment to T Construction LLC for the 2025 Citywide Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation programme, project WW071. The meeting agenda also placed two further wastewater capital items at first reading. One would amend the grant agreement for the Vince Bayou WWTP Bar Screen Improvements project, extending the termination date for a $1 million Texas General Land Office disaster-recovery grant to June 30, 2027. The other would replace a mistakenly attached contract with the correct agreement for Geotest Engineering Inc. to provide $31,250 of materials-testing services for Golden Acres WWTP solids-handling-system improvements. These measures remained pending as first readings. Council separately approved the appointment of Josh Canales as Utility Worker II in Wastewater Collection and Dario Trevino as Utility Maintenance Technician II in Water Production. Both appointments take effect September 16, with biweekly pay stated as $1,184 for Canales and $1,324.80 for Trevino.
