During its June 18, 2026, meeting, the Sunriver Service District Managing Board announced that the Public Safety Building drywell project is officially out for bid. The project, designed to address stormwater drainage issues on the facility's south apron, has completed its engineering and contract language phases. Administrator Mindy Holliday confirmed that the invitation to bid has been posted on OregonBuys, the state procurement website, to broaden vendor outreach and encourage competitive submissions. Bidding will close on July 1 at 3:00 PM. The proposals will be evaluated by a grading committee assessing the bids based on price, vendor history, and reputation. The Managing Board expects to review the committee's recommendation and award the contract during its July meeting. According to District officials, the project has already passed the Sunriver design review. Construction on the south apron drywell is targeted to begin after August 1 and is estimated to take between two and four weeks to complete. The installation aims to effectively manage drainage runoff at the public safety site.
