In a separate infrastructure decision during the same meeting, the board advanced a municipal stormwater initiative by approving an interlocal contract between Clark County and the Regional Flood Control District. The agreement clears the way for construction on the Flamingo Wash project, specifically targeting the segment between University Center Drive and Palos Verdes Street. Both water infrastructure items were passed swiftly in a single consent motion.
