The Board also approved sanitary sewer and lift station agreements with MAB Capital Investments to serve the Hyde Park development located in Noblesville.

The City of Fishers, Indiana, is moving forward with key wastewater infrastructure expansions, bolstered by state funding and strategic procurement. At its July 14 meeting, the Board of Public Works and Safety approved a $353,750 grant agreement with the Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) to support the installation of a low-pressure sanitary sewer system for the Lynnwood Hills subdivision. The project will provide the backbone infrastructure to connect existing homes to the municipal sewer system. According to the city's sanitary sewer engineer, the city is initiating early equipment purchases to secure a reduced price per unit and avoid future cost escalations. The project is slated for bidding in August, with construction expected to begin in the fall. The utility extension is coupled with a broader municipal annexation effort. Staff reported during the meeting that more than 140 of the 160 homes in the Lynnwood Hills neighborhood have signed on to the annexation, which is currently navigating its remonstrance period. In a separate move highlighting the utility's expanding footprint, the Board approved a sanitary sewer service agreement and a lift station contract with MAB Capital Investments, LLC for Phase 3 of the Hyde Park development. The 67.78-acre property is notably located within the neighboring City of Noblesville, marking a cross-jurisdictional service provision for the Fishers municipal sewer utility. Under the agreement, the developer will construct the off-site gravity sewers and a new lift station at its own expense before dedicating the facilities to Fishers, ensuring the city collects ongoing connection and user fees. In other water-related business, the Board approved two contracts totaling $430,060 to Fredericks, Inc. for the installation of sewer and water utilities to serve upcoming restroom facilities at the Fishers Sports Complex and Plateau Fields.
