According to meeting documents prepared by Engineering Department Director Hatem Mekky, a significant utility conflict was discovered during the construction of the development's dry detention basin. This conflict forced the relocation of the basin's drainage outlet. To resolve the issue, the storm sewer required realignment, which involved routing a short segment of pipe through an adjacent northern property located at 10305 Allisonville Road. The board's approval of Resolution No. R082526 secures the necessary permanent drainage easement from the property owner, JMH Properties LLC. The agreement grants the city the right to construct, operate, maintain, and reconstruct the drainage facilities on the parcel. According to the board action form, the easement requires no direct expenditure from the city's budget.
