To ensure regulatory compliance on federally funded construction projects, the Board approved a $51,000 Labor Standards Administration contract with NV Grant Services, LLC. Requested by Water Superintendent McKee, the contract covers compliance and reporting services required by the State Revolving Fund (SRF). Specifically, NV Grant Services will ensure the utility meets its contractual obligations under the Davis-Bacon Act and other related federal requirements tied to SRF funding. On the wastewater side, the Board approved Pay Application #1 for contractor F.A. Wilhelm in the amount of $134,044. Requested by Water Pollution Control Superintendent Paschal, the payment covers ongoing work at the Dewey Street dry weather pump station. During the meeting, officials clarified that the work is specifically part of the city's broader dry weather lift station rehabilitation program, rather than its interceptor project. Additionally, the Board approved departmental claims for the period, clearing $1,084,133.13 for the Water Department, $810,517.35 for Water Pollution Control, and $64,664.48 for Stormwater operations.
