The council also appointed Jeff Barnes and reappointed Crispin Gravatt to the Public Works Commission for four-year terms ending in 2030.

During its August 25, 2026, meeting, the Boise City Council approved multiple measures advancing the city's wastewater collection and treatment capabilities as part of its consent agenda. The council passed a resolution (RES-391-26) authorizing the FY27 renewal of a sole-source procurement agreement with Parkson Corporation. The contract secures Aqua Guard screen assemblies, which serve as influent screening devices for the city's Public Works Department wastewater operations. In a separate infrastructure move, the council approved an interagency agreement (RES-408-26) between the Boise Public Works Department and the Ada County Highway District (ACHD). The agreement coordinates the Cloverdale Road, Victory Road to Overland Road Sewer Service and Main Line Extensions (Public Works Project #CSP-1173). Additionally, the council approved two leadership appointments to the Public Works Commission, which oversees the city's utility services. Jeff Barnes was appointed as a new commissioner, while Crispin Gravatt was reappointed. Both will serve four-year terms concluding on August 31, 2030. The infrastructure and personnel items were approved unanimously without further discussion.
