The Santa Ana City Council has approved a new procurement contract to support the maintenance of its wastewater collection system. During its July 7, 2026, meeting, the council authorized a purchase order agreement with Golden Bell Products Corp to provide insecticidal latex coating services for the city's sewer manholes. Managed by the Public Works Agency, the contract is aimed at maintaining the sanitation and operational integrity of the municipal sewer infrastructure. The initial agreement spans one year, running from July 7, 2026, through July 6, 2027, with expenditures capped at $100,000 for the first term. To ensure continuity of maintenance services, the agreement includes provisions for up to four additional one-year renewal options. If all extensions are exercised, the total value of the contract will reach a maximum of $500,000 over a five-year period.
